1. General

The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Any such changes will be posted on this page.
2. Products or Services
  • Products and services referred to on this site are directed solely on the persons accessing the site from the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong. We make no representation that any products or services referred to on this website are available or appropriate for use in any other location.
  • Any products or services referred to on this site are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time without prior notice.
  • We reserve the right to decline any order we may, in our opinion, consider unreliable upon having checked the payment details submitted for that particular order or request a payment means of whatever kind which is deemed appropriate.
3. Delivery and Charges
  • We will only affect delivery to Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, the New Territories and some designated areas of outlying islands of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. To request for overseas delivery, you may email us or call our Customer Service Hotline (852) 3741-0000 during normal business hours. Our Customer Service team will try their best to help.
  • Under normal circumstances, goods ordered will be delivered to customers in 1-2 working days from the date of order, depending on the requested area of delivery. Delivery service already scheduled shall not be available when Typhoon Signal No.8 or above or when rainstorm warning signal black is hoisted, or in the event of force majeure. An alternative delivery date shall be arranged.
  • Customers are required to pay an extra HK$30 per floor (charged from 1/F onwards) for any delivery made to a building without a lift, or when items to be delivered cannot fit in or be transported by the lift.
  • Except for cases described below, customers are entitled to our free delivery service when they make a purchase of HK $3,000 or above.
  • Customers are required to pay an extra charge of HK $300 per delivery to Ma Wan, Tung Chung and Discovery Bay Districts.
4. Return Policy
  • All goods and products from Eureka are sold on an “As-Is” basis. Neither Eureka nor any affiliate can warranty the durability of any products for any period of time.
5. Privacy Policy
  • When you shop with Eureka, you are required and agree to furnish us with your personal data. If the personal data is incomplete or incorrect, we may not be able to provide desired service to you.
  • Eureka shall keep customers' personal data confidential at all times and shall fully observe the Personal Data (privacy) Ordinance of the Hong Kong SAR ("Ordinance") in collecting, marinating and using customers' personal data. In particular, we observe the following principles:
    • personal data is collected for the purposes of sales of products, provisions of related services and customer services.
    • practical steps are taken to ensure the accuracy of personal data, protected against unauthorized access, and retained for a reasonable period of time.

6. Use of Cookies
  • Eureka uses cookies to store a small piece of data, which will save a returning customer from entering their email address during shopping. Eureka does not store personal data in the cookies. If you want to disable the cookies, you may do so by changing the respective settings on your web browser.
7. Linked Website
  • This site may contain links to other websites, which are not maintained, controlled or endorsed by Eureka and for which Eureka is not responsible. When you access any of these links you access at your own risk for which we disclaim any responsibilities and liability.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitations of Liabilities
  • This site, and any contents of this site, is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by the applicable law, we make no representations or warrants of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of this site or contents or products included on this site. We do not warrant that this site or emails by us are free of viruses, Trojan Horses, worms or other harmful items. Eureka is not liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site. If any provisions of these disclaimers or exclusions shall be lawful, void or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed servable and shall not effect the validity and the enforceability of the remaining provisions.
9. Copyright and Trade Marks
  • Eureka and other parties own the trade marks, service marks, product names and logos displayed on this site. Any persons are prohibited from using them without prior written consent of Eureka or such other parties. Contents of this site and software incorporated herein are protected by copyright held by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, disrupted or used in any way for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
10. Applicable Law
  • The laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region shall govern the interpretation of these terms and conditions and resolution of any dispute that may arise as a result of usage of this site. If there is any difference between the English language text of the terms and conditions and the Chinese language text, the English version shall prevail.

Items that are Not Returnable:

1. Credit Account
In the event that you have a corporate account with either Home Essentials or Eureka, Eureka will send you a welcome email with your user name, password, and credit amount. Said amount will be displayed in the Explorer Pass in the upper right hand corner of your account. Each and every purchase will be deducted from the Pass.

2. Credit Card
You may pay by credit card no matter which ordering method you use (internet or phone). At the time your order is placed, Eureka obtains a pre-approval from the credit card company for the amount of your order. Credit card billing occurs when your order ships. Eureka accepts Visa & MasterCard.

-Debit Cards and Check cards have daily spending limits that may substantially delay the processing of your order.

Credit Card Security Codes

Eureka requires the credit card security code for your card for any telephone or online purchase. The credit card security code is an individual three or four digit number specific to your credit card that may be printed on the back of your card, on the signature panel (if Visa, MasterCard). Asking for and confirming your credit card's security code helps validate that you - and only you - are in possession of your credit card and protects you from unauthorized use of your account.

3. Cash or Check Payment

Eureka accepts cash and personal checks from any bank in Hong Kong. Eureka prefers you make this payment at any Home Essentials (31 Queen's Road East).

4. Multiple Payment Tenders

You may use multiple payment tenders on anything sold by Eureka. Split payment orders can be made no matter which ordering method you use (internet or phone). You can pay with two credit cards by indicating the amount to place on your primary card. The remaining balance will be allocated automatically to the second card.

5. Explorer Pass Gift Card

You can redeem an Explorer Pass Gift Card in retail Home Essentials, from the Online Home Essentials, by sending a check to Customer Service, or by calling 852-2870-1400. Explorer Pass Gift Cards can only be used in Hong Kong. You can purchase just about anything sold by Eureka (except another Explorer Pass Gift Card) including products from Home Essentials. In retail stores, simply present the card to the cashier at time of payment. For online purchases enter the 16-digit card number PIN (to be scratched off). Please keep the card in your possession until the order has been processed and delivered. The Explorer Pass Gift Card is subject to applicable terms and conditions.

6. Wire Transfer

Eureka accepts bank wire transfers as valid form of payment. If you would like to use a wire transfer to pay for your order, please contact Customer Service. Processing time varies among banking institutions and can be delayed. Please allow one business day for the processing of your wire transfer.

Delivery Terms

Signature is required for delivery:

Most of our shipments contain valuable items. If you will not be at the shipping address to accept delivery of your product, consider shipping the item to an address where someone you trust will be available to sign for your package. Please note that we are not able to adjust a shipping address once a package has left Eureka's warehouse. Title and Risk of Loss will pass to you on delivery.

Undeliverable Packages:

Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When a carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, please contact us to make arrangements for reshipment.

The estimated shipment date on your order is based on product availability, payment processing time, and warehouse processing time and does not include transit time. Payment process will not begin until we receive all the information we need and full payment or a full authorization, in the case of credit card and lease orders.

Orders placed on the weekend or on a holiday will begin payment processing the next business day.

Eureka endeavors to offer you competitive prices on current all products. All prices are final. Should you see the same product offered at a lower price at any other time, we apologize. There will not ever be a refund, credit, or similar compensation for price variations.

Order lead time is the length of time it will take us to validate your credit card, assemble the right products, and package your order. Shipping time is the length of time it will for the packages to travel from our warehouse to your shipping address. Eureka makes every effort to ship your product according to the estimated lead times provided by Eureka at checkout. The estimated lead times are in business days (Monday through Friday) excluding Public Holidays. Lead times will begin the following business day for orders placed and credit cleared after 2pm CST. Lead times quoted on the checkout page are for orders that are partially shipped - meaning items ship as soon as they are available. If you have requested a complete shipment, please add 3-4 additional days for transportation and order consolidation processing.

Although every effort is made to ship your order according to the lead time provided, shipping dates may change due to changes in supply. If the lead time changes, Eureka will contact you via email and provide a revised shipping estimate.

Given the popularity of some products, Eureka may restrict the number of such items that you may purchase. Any product limit restrictions will be posted on Eureka's web site. This information is subject to change.

  1. Definition of the Eureka is the provider of the Eureka Store (the "service") that permits you to purchase under certain terms and conditions as set forth in this Agreement.
  2. Age requirements for use of this service. This Service is available for individuals aged 18 years or older. If you are 18 or older, you should review these terms and conditions with your parent or guardian to make sure that you and your parent or guardian understand these terms and conditions.
  3. Policies and Rules. Your use of the service & purchases made through it are subject Terms of Sale.
  4. Your information. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information required to register with the Service and at other points as may be required in the course of using the Service ("Registration Data"). You further agree to maintain and update your Registration Data as required to keep it accurate, current, and complete. Eureka may terminate your rights to any or all of the service if any information you provide is false, inaccurate, or incomplete.
  1. Purchase of Eureka Content
  1. Product Requirements. You acknowledge that use of products may require the use of other hardware and software products (e.g., the ability to make copies of products on physical media and render the performance of products on authorized digital player devices), and that such hardware and software is your responsibility. Once a product is purchased and you receive the product, it is your responsibility not to lose, destroy, or damage the product, and Eureka shall be without liability to you in the event of any loss, destruction, or damage.
  2. Use of Products. You acknowledge that products contain security technology that limits your usage of products to the following Usage Rules, and you agree to use products in compliance to such Usage Rules.
  3. You agree that your purchase of products constitutes your acceptance of and agreement to use such products solely in accordance with the Usage Rules, and that any other use of the products may constitute a copyright infringement. The security technology is an inseparable part of the products. The Usage Rules shall govern your rights with respect to the products, in addition to any other terms and rules that may have been established between you and another party. Eureka reserves the right to modify the Usage Rules at any time.
  4. You acknowledge that some aspects of the service, products, and administering of the Usage Rules entails the ongoing involvement of Eureka. Accordingly, in the event that Eureka changes any part of the service or discontinues the service, which Eureka may do at its election, you acknowledge that you may no longer be able to use products to the same extent as prior to such change or discontinuation, and that Eureka shall have no liability to you in such case.
  5. The service may offer interactive features that allow you to, among other things, submit or post information, materials or links to third party content on areas of the service accessible or viewable by other users of the service and the public. You represent and agree that any use by you of such features, including any information, materials or links submitted or posted by you, shall be your sole responsibility, shall not infringe or violate the rights of any other party or violate any laws, contribute to or encourage infringing or otherwise unlawful conduct, or otherwise be obscene, objectionable or in poor taste, and that you have obtained all necessary rights, licenses or clearances. You further agree to provide accurate and complete information in connection with your submission of posting of any information or materials on the Service. Moreover, you herby grant Eureka a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use such materials as part of the Service, and in relation to products, without compensation or obligation to you.
Eureka reserves the right not to post or publish any materials, and to delete, remove or edit any material, at any time in its sole discretion without notice or liability.

Eureka has the right, but no obligation, to monitor any information and materials submitted or posted by you or otherwise available on the Service, to investigate any reported or apparent violation of this Agreement, and to take any action that Eureka in its sole discretion deems appropriate, including, without limitation, under section 14 below or under our Copyright Policy.

Usage Rules

Your usage of the products is conditioned upon your prior acceptance of the terms of this Agreement.

You shall be authorized to use the products only for personal, noncommercial use.

You agree that you will not attempt to, or encourage or assist any other person to, circumvent or modify any security technology or software that is part of the service or used to administer the Usage Rules.

The delivery of products does not transfer to you any commercial or promotional use rights in the products.
